Credit Analyst
-Prepare credit applications and annual reviews of counter parties to assess their credit quality and risk exposure to recommend appropriate credit limits, terms and conditions. This includes financial statements analysis (P&L, BS and CF), a review of the client’s business risk, industry dynamics, competitive environment and when appropriate use of projections. -Present credit memos to the Group Risk Committee. -Monitor credit limits, collateral requirements and compliance with covenants. -Contribute to and attend meetings with customers as appropriate. -Have a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or similar -Minimum 3 years of analytical experience, having a deep understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts. -Strong communication skills – orally as well as written/reports – in English (Swedish is desirable but not essential) -Experience from credit modelling is a plus Personal characteristics -Excellent skills in assessing financial statements and business risk profiles -Strong sense of responsibility -Result oriented and diligent -Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced and changing environment -Strive for perfection and deliver simplicity The Credit function, consisting of three people, is responsible for ensuring that Bambora is in good control of the credit risks associated with the card acquiring product, as well as managing and continuously developing credit risk models and policies. You will be responsible for analyzing the Enterprise accounts, prepare and present credit memos to the Group Risk Committee.

A. Credit Analysis To provide insightful, relevant, succinct and timely (see below) credit analysis of a portfolio of SCB’s clients (current or prospective). This includes responsibility for proposing counterparty credit grades via the relevant scorecard, the completion of General Wrong Way Risk assessments and ongoing monitoring for credit-material events, as well as the monitoring of all covenants and risk triggers. While the portfolio will be industry / geography specific in focus, the role extends to analysing other clients as may from time to time be required Insightful: Attuned to the needs of two audiences – Client Coverage and Risk - the analysis should provide a forward-looking, focused opinion on the likely development of both business and financial risk elements in their industry / geographic context together with a calibrated articulation of key risks and potential mitigants thereto. Relevant: As well as a holistic counterparty assessment, analysis should comment on structural elements relevant to SCB’s existing or proposed exposure such as guarantee and security arrangements Succinct: While always providing sufficient granularity to substantiate its conclusions and observations, the analysis should present opinion in as structured and succinct a manner as is practical Timely: While focused on the prescribed annual review cycle, analysis will also be required where material new exposure is being considered by Client Coverage. In addition, more summary analysis should be produced and disseminated quickly, where relevant Additionally, for any BCA submission it will involve the following: • Critical review of Environment and Social Risk Assessments, Appropriateness and Suitability Assessments (FM Products) and Client & Group Facility Summary & Structure (including Terms and Conditions), proposed Covenants and Risk Triggers; • Consistency and coherence review of the limits proposed, Approved Account Plan, Raptor (or equivalent) and other static data (risk profile, compliance aspects) Overall accountability for consistency and coherence of the complete BCA package submitted to Risk will rest jointly (and severally) with Credit Analysis and the wider Client Coverage (GAM/FAM/ARM) team and is a key element of this Job Purpose. Key requirements: • Analytical strength – to spot emerging risks, in particular • Gravitas – to engage with Relationship Managers and Clients alike in a robust, but constructive manner • Collaborative – to work in partnership with stakeholders to ‘get things done’, fulfilling the Job Purpose Experience & Skills: • Relevant experience in Global Corporate banking. Senior Credit Analyst / Credit Manager VFS EMEA
Volvo Financial Services EMEA is looking for a Senior Credit Analyst / Credit Manager Depending on the individual, their skills, experiences, and aptitude, the applicant would be better positioned for either the Sr. Credit Analyst or the Credit Manager role. Also, depending on the role, the reporting manager will be either the Director Credit or Vice President Credit & Risk. PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Sr. Credit Analyst / Credit Manager is responsible for coordinating the process of VFS EMEA European Credit Board (ECB) credit submissions both for Retail and Wholesale customers within the EMEA Region. He/she reviews the credit submissions, identifies further areas for clarification/ improvement and does so by working closely with the relevant EMEA market. He/she is also responsible in ensuring a high quality and consistency of all credit submissions. Furthermore, he/ she will also compile a summary and recommendation for each submission for onward distribution to the ECB members. He/she prepares for, and is responsible for the ECB meeting’s smooth organization, and ensures timely and effective routing of credit applications through the various decision levels (credit committees). In addition, he/she facilitates the compilation of various EMEA credit reports by liaising with the credit managers and credit analysts in the region. The individual will have a high level of interface with the VFS Global Credit & Risk organization. This position is envisioned to be a feeder role for a leadership position within the EMEA Credit and Risk organization, and that the individual will have the capacity and aptitude to take the learnings and apply them to a market or a sub-regional role within two to three years. Credit Analyst
Qliro’s Credit Analytics team is looking for a talented and driven analyst to strengthen our Credit Analytics Function. The Credit Analytics team is at the heart of Qliro’s Credit function and in charge of developing credit strategies that enables Qliro to grow, while keeping the risk at bay. As an analyst at Credit Analytics, you will learn to become expert in identifying and mitigating risk drivers across the customer life cycle. This involves qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify and understand the root causes of credit risk as well as applying targeted strategies to make sure that credit results are actively managed. What will you do? - You understand our product and its credit life cycle and strive to understand what’s driving our Credit risk throughout the entire customer lifetime. - You monitor our existing credit framework and test existing rules and assumptions. Keeping relevant stakeholders updated on rules performance and provide insight to help improving our strategies. - You perform root cause analyses of concerning trends and identify performance drivers and translate your findings into relevant modifications of the credit strategy. - You follow up on various initiatives to mitigate risk within the existing portfolio. - You support the teams working with our newly launched consumer finance product with analytical insights required to get the most out of our business model and to balance risk-reward. - Together with other teams at Qliro, you work on various risk and product related products. Using structured and unstructured data, you aim to translating analytical findings into business implications. Who are we looking for? - ?You have a degree in engineering, statistics, econometrics or finance or another relevant field or a few years of experience in an analytics field. - You’re fascinated by the credit problem and what’s driving risk and you want to learn everything there is to know. - You’re brilliant and street smart and you’re able to get up to speed rapidly. We don’t expect knowledge from the Credit field from the get go but we do expect you to get up to speed quickly. You are good at finding the information you need, even if that requires googling, nagging other teams or the occasional reading of manuals. - You’re prepared to dig into whatever is thrown at you. As the newest member of team, you will often help others with their projects and learn from them. However, don’t hesitate to bring forward your own ideas. - You have prior experience from analyzing large data sets and databases and you are willing to learn new systems and tools if they’re needed to get the job done. We currently use R, Scala and T-SQL so prior knowledge of them will help you get up to speed faster. - You’re tech savvy. Programming experience, even if it’s just the basics, is a plus.
