Job-Facts: You will be working in a global development team that includes both designers and testers within the areas of HW, SW and Mechanics. The designers and testers are working very close together to achieve an efficient development approach. Polarion is used as ALM tool for the complete development team to track all requirements and test cases. In a project you will have the possibility to be part of the complete development lifecycle, from concept to production. The test performance and test development for you as a test engineer will both involve design testing, design validation, product validation and aftermarket/root cause testing. The market we are addressing is Tolling, Connected Vehicles and V2X technology, which is a new business segment within Kapsch. So here you will have the chance to be part of building up a new department within Kapsch but also be part of building vehicles of the future. Ur ett tekniskt perspektiv handlar det om komplexa distribuerade system bestående av olika typer av delsystem och produkter (kameror, mikrovågsutrustning, industri-PC, administrativa system) som kommunicerar i ett nätverk. Arbetet initieras i första hand av kundprojekt, men även generiska utvecklingsprojekt utgör en viktig del. Våra kunder är spridda över världen och även det interna arbetet är internationellt, då samarbetet med Kapsch-bolag i Österrike, Argentina och USA ständigt ökar. Arbetsuppgifter: Tillsammans med övriga medlemmar i gruppen ansvarar Systems Engineer för att översätta kundens behov och krav till en detaljerad design som våra utvecklingteam kan implementera. Som Systems Engineer tar man också fram dokumentation som beskriver systemet som levereras till våra kunder liksom dokumentation som vi behöver för internt bruk, deltar och presenterar i möten och workshops, på plats och via videokonferens, med kunder och kollegor globalt, och planerar och genomför acceptansverifiering där man visar för kund att levererat system uppfyller kundens krav. Vi strävar hela tiden efter ökad effektivitet och kvalitet, varför utveckling av metodik, processer, verktygsstöd, och den dokumentation vi underhåller också är viktiga arbetsuppgifter. Kravprofil: Du är utbildad civil- eller högskoleingenjör eller har motsvarande erfarenhet, är driven, ambitiös och noggrann. Du har också intresse och talang för dokumentation, ett tydligt och begripligt beskriva tekniska system i skrift och med illustrationer. Du är intresserad av mötet med kund och samarbete i team med kollegor där man tar fram systemlösningar gemensamt. Dokumentation, och i många fall kommunikation, med kunder och kollegor globalt, sker i huvudsak på engelska. Vi ser gärna att du har ett brett tekniskt kunnande inom tekniska system, realtidssystem och IT-system. Det är också meriterande om du har erfarenhet och utbildning inom något teknikområde såsom mikrovågsradio, bildbehandling, mjukvaruutveckling, IT-plattformar, databaser, teknisk drift, statistik, mm. Även videoprodukter för automatisk nummerplåtsavläsning. Fokus i tjänsten ligger på områden som bildbehandling, algoritmer, hårdvarunära programmering, och mjukvaruarkitektur för inbyggda system. Linux, Qt, Python, C++, OpenCV och TensorFlow är några av de ramverk vi använder i det dagliga arbetet. Arbetet innefattar mjukvaruutveckling på system- och detaljnivå, allt från idé till verifiering och produktionsstart. Du har stor möjlighet till kompetensutveckling i denna roll. Vi söker dig som är civilingenjör eller motsvarande inom datavetenskap, datateknik eller liknande. Du har erfarenhet av mjukvaruutveckling för inbyggda system och gärna har kunskap om Linux. Du ingår som en naturlig del av vårt utvecklingsteam och är involverad i hela utvecklingsprocessen. Du har högskole-/universitetsutbildning med inriktning på mjukvaruutveckling / systemvetenskap / validering eller motsvarande arbetslivserfarenhet.
