Laboratory Group Manager, Analytical Chemistry
It is an exciting time with many interesting and challenging projects in the pipeline. Besides the projects Analytical Chemistry also give support with analysis and problem solving issues to all functions in the organization. This is a position where you will have the opportunity to work hands on whilst developing your leadership skills. As Group Manager for the Analytical Chemistry your main assignments will be to: - Provide leadership and technical direction for the team - Responsible for management and prioritization to meet the need of internal customers - Follow the technological and methodological development in relevant fields and implement good opportunities at Analytical Chemistry - Participate in projects and customer support activities as an analytical chemist - Develop the team by establishing and providing clear goals, direction, motivation, and support needed for self and team members to excel in a continuous improvement culture - Maintain and improve standards of health and safety You have a genuine interest in people and a wish to develop your leadership skills. You have a positive and curious attitude to new challenges, good strategic and independent thinking as well as coordination ability. We expect you to have an open-minded attitude and a collaborative way of working, striving for knowledge sharing. Communication and networking skills are keys for success. We believe that the right applicant have/has: - About 5 years of experience in a relevant area and hands-on working knowledge for a variety of analytical techniques. - A technical/chemical education, Master’s degree or Ph.D., preferably in Polymer-and Material Chemistry or Thermo-Physical Analytical Chemistry. R&D is a project-oriented organization and familiarity with project driven work is acknowledged. We value good complex analytical problem solving skills. Spoken and written English and Swedish is required. We are passionate about producing market-leading innovation based on actual market and customer needs, as well as long term trends. The Analytical Chemistry department contributes to the innovation process through various R&D projects. In addition we also provide support to business in all types of customer relations. Although present in many different countries, we are considered a small company. This means you are never anonymous – what you do really counts. You will have opportunity to influence and contribute. And if this is not enough - you will be surrounded by friendly, supportive and engaged colleagues. We are 16 persons working with Analytical Chemistry. Since this is a fairly large team it has been decided that we will recruit a Group Manager that works closely with the Head of Analytical Chemistry with management and coordination of the team. The group manager will be responsible for one half of the group.

Laboratory Engineer / Development Chemist
There is no “typical day” - they are all different and filled with experiments, syntheses, evaluations, discussions, meetings and of course some administration (and possibilities to fill the breaks with either nice coffee conversation, walking in the forest or taking a break in our mindfulness room). Safety is very important at this lab and safety is part of our natural behavior and this is something we are very proud of. As a new colleague you will have a mentor that helps you find your way around. You will be introduced to different functions/colleagues within Innovation and R&D. From this you will be able to plan your own activities within the projects that you will be working on. You mainly work in projects and as an integrated team member you can come with suggestions along the road. You are introduced to the project normally working together with a department colleague. Your first test results will tell you how to continue, hopefully you can stick to the plan, but sometimes the experiments indicate that you have to take another route to be able to reach the requested results. Flexibility is the key word as well as determination to find a solution when it looks dark. Usually the solutions come through discussions with other team members and senior advisors. Servicedesk Technician
Om tjänsten Vi kan erbjuda dig ett intressant, stimulerande och omväxlande arbete på koncernens globala IT-avdelning. Alla i ServiceDesk arbetar enligt ett rullande schema med 1st, 2nd och 3rd line uppdrag. På förmiddagen hjälper du kanske personer på våra siter i Asien via telefon och skärmövertagning, på eftermiddagen kan det gälla att jobba i ett projekt. Vi anser att det är bra för kunden, för företaget, att ha kvalificerade resurser redan i första kontakten, så att man förhoppningsvis kan få snabb hjälp. Därför är det också viktigt att våra tekniker jobbar med olika typer av uppdrag, alltifrån just telefonsupport till att installera datorer och att jobba i olika projekt. Just detta är viktigt för många, att ha utveckling i sin roll, inte nödvändigtvis behöva byta tjänst. Alla utvecklar dessutom specialistkompetens inom några områden så att vi har denna inom gruppen. Hos oss är vi måna om våra kollegors kompetensutveckling för att framtidssäkra vår kunskap inom IT-området. Junior Processutvecklare - talangprogram inom Globala Affärssystem
Vad kommer du att få göra? Ditt arbete kan delas in i tre huvudområden. 1) Change – Området där vi lägger största delen av vår tid. Här ryms stora och mindre projekt inom förändring eller förbättring kopplat till våra moduler i SAP. 2) Support – När en funktion inte fungerar korrekt. Felet kan bero på fel på systemet eller användning av systemet. Det är vår uppgift att reda ut och att kommunicera verksamhetskrav och säkerställa att verksamheter kan rulla vidare. 3) Service – Detta handlar om ändringar som vi gjort sedan tidigare och som vi enkelt kan implementera. Återkommande aktiviteter som behöver ändras i systemet. Exempelvis skapa nya lager, nya utlastningsplatser, skapa nya kostnadsställen m.m. Ditt huvudsakliga fokus kommer vara att översätta krav från verksamheten till teknik. Du tar detta vidare till våra arkitekter som bygger in funktionaliteten. När detta är gjort utvärderar och testkör du processerna för att se om det fungerar enligt beställarens krav. Du har helikopterperspektivet på hur ERP-plattformen är uppbyggd och vilka förändringar som kan göras för att möta krav från verksamheten. Med start i början av 2019 söker vi två juniora processutvecklare till vårt talangprogram inom globala affärssystem. Tjänsterna är placerade i Perstorp och programmet pågår under två år. Därefter är målsättningen att du går in i en permanent roll. - Nyligen avslutad akademisk utbildning på kandidat eller master nivå. Relevanta områden är exempelvis systemvetenskap, ekonomi, logistik, kemi, IT - Intresserad av en roll som kombinerar teknik och affärsprocesser inom industri - Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i både tal och skrift - Möjlighet att under vissa veckor spendera tid utomlands - Det är meriterande med sommarjobb/extrajobb som är relevant för tjänsten. Exempelvis inom ekonomi eller logistik. Som person har du tilltro till din egen förmåga och vågar att ta dig an uppgifter du inte har stött på tidigare. I rollen som junior processutvecklare behöver du kunna sälja det du gör och därav är kommunikativ förmåga viktig. Förmåga att hantera stress och att ta ansvar för sina uppgifter är av betydande vikt för att bli framgångsrik i rollen – i perioder är arbetet intensivt, har hög press och det är många som är beroende av dig. Organisatoriskt kommer du ingå i Global ERP, en del av Perstorps IT-organisation. I Global ERP är vi totalt 17 kollegor som utgår från Perstorp. Vi är experter på utformning, implementation, projektledning och support av processer och funktioner i vårt affärssystem. Vårt uppdrag är att se till att de arbetsprocesser som organisationen använder stöds i affärssystemet. Perstorp satsar strategiskt på SAP som ERP-plattform och driver därför utrullningsprojekt för att ersätta befintliga system på våra 10 produktionssiter runt om i världen. Utrullningen av SAP på våra produktionssiter kommer att pågå under flera år framöver.

Product Stewardship Specialist
As a Product Stewardship Specialist within the Responsible Care department you will be part of the Product Stewardship team that supports the company to place safe products on the market according to legal requirements and company values. About the position We are seven people working with Product Stewardship matters and twelve in total within Responsible Care. You will participate in projects relevant for Product Safety and Stewardship and support the company within your field of expertise. The job also include representation of Perstorp in different external fora such as trade organizational working groups and consortia. Together with the team you will be involved in the work to continuously improve the Product Stewardship standard for Perstorp. Since we are a quite small team you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of task and take ownership of your area of specialization. Examples of responsibilities: Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of Product Stewardship processes. Support the company in the product development or when entering new markets and/or countries by evaluating Product Safety aspects. Manage registrations and notifications needed for products to be manufactured/ imported or placed on the market. Especially according to REACH since many of the Perstorp sites are located within EU. Represent Perstorp in national and international cooperation organizations and trade associations. Classify chemicals and create Safety Data Sheets and when needed the content of Hazard Labels. Develop training material and educate relevant personnel in the organization when needed within the Product Stewardship field. Qualifications We are looking for a team member that can complete our team. Preferably you are an ecotoxicologist with experience from either chemical industry or relevant agency and is experienced in environmental risk assessment and environmental fate. However, Perstorp is a company that are expanding into new markets so if you are not an ecotoxicologist but have chemical regulatory background or toxicological background we would be happy to have a closer look at your application and CV. Education comparable to Master of Science in Ecotoxicology, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering orToxicology. Experience of working with chemical control legislations. Minimum requirement is speaking, writing and reading fluently in English. Good computer skills. Good communication skills. Meriting; Longer experience of similar work assignments in chemical industry and/or within authorities. Experience of classifying chemicals and creating Safety Data Sheets and extra plus if used Wercs when creating SDSs. Experience of working with REACH and CLP. Chemist and knowledge of substance identity. Regulatory affairs experience within the feed sector. Experience of TSCA reporting.
