Product Development Engineers R&D Center Tube

The Oil & Gas and Wet Corrosion units are currently looking for three Development Engineers. Key performance areas As R&D Engineer you will work with the development of products used in Oil & Gas or Wet corrosion applications. Key performance areas As our Product Development Engineer you develop new tools for metal drilling as well as knowledge platforms for product development in accordance with project charters. Your responsibilities further include: - Developing and maintaining competence within areas of applications, function and tool-life demands, products (own and competitors), technical development, methods and trends - Participating in customer demand analyzes and design for manufacturing - Initiating and working with product care - Conducting numerical analysis - Networking with stakeholders and holding presentations - Performing hands on lab experiments such as test drilling and analyzing durability, vibrations, cutting forces etc. - Striving for a knowledge-driven design culture through appropriate methods, technologies, platforms and systems, with the aim of shortening lead times and increasing flexibility and quality through increased knowledge of our products and processes This position includes up to 20 days of traveling annually. Key performance areas You work with development and construction of new products, follow up on existing products, and take care of special requests. Product Development Engineer Mechanical
The Position In this position you will be part our Product Development team within the Patient and Post-Acute Care (ArjoHuntleigh) Business Category, working with the design and New product development of medical devices for the spin-off division ArjoHuntleigh. Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be: • Develop new and improve existing medical products with focus on the mechanical parts such as structures, mechanisms and materials. • Participate in the development of Design Inputs like customer requirements/user needs and engineering requirements. Ensures user needs can be validated and engineering requirements can be verified. • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings (in Solid Works) of the product and perform detailed product analysis. • Make sure the product is manufactural to the right quality and cost. • Prototyping the design. • Documentation of the product by for example specification sheets and part drawings. • Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Operations groups throughout the early production builds and launch. • Participate in risk assessment on the design and product. • Adhere to standards to help ensure compliance with for example FDA and MDD. The position is located in Malmö, HQ for the spin off divison ArjoHuntleigh. The role requires international travel, approximately around 5-10%. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for persons with this background: As ideal for the position you have at least 5 years’ experience within Mechanical Design, preferably from medical devices industry or other regulated industry. You have at least a Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You have a good understanding of product risk management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with SolidWorks or similar 3D-modeling is required. You have a wide experience in different polymer and/or metal materials and the related production methods. It is an advantage if you have knowledge working with flow simulation, corrosion and plumbing. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. As a person you are positive and driven with an action-oriented attitude. Being able to communicate efficiently with different international stakeholders, in a professional, and co-operative manner, is an important asset in order to succeed in the role. You are a creative, open-minded and solution-oriented team-player who makes sure actions are implemented. Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change. As we are planning the spin off and listing of our division Patent and Post-Acute Care (PPAC), also known under the brand name ArjoHuntleigh, we are successively building up the new spin off organization. Product Development Engineer Mechanical
The Position In this position you will be part our Product Development team working with the design and New product development of medical devices for the spin-off division ArjoHuntleigh. Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be: • Develop new and improve existing medical products with focus on the mechanical parts such as structures, mechanisms and materials. • Participate in the development of Design Inputs like customer requirements/user needs and engineering requirements. Ensures user needs can be validated and engineering requirements can be verified. • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings (in Solid Works) of the product and perform detailed product analysis. • Make sure the product is manufactural to the right quality and cost. • Prototyping the design. • Documentation of the product by for example specification sheets and part drawings. • Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Operations groups throughout the early production builds and launch. • Participate in risk assessment on the design and product. • Adhere to standards to help ensure compliance with for example FDA and MDD. The position is located in Malmö, HQ for the spin off divison ArjoHuntleigh. The role requires international travel, approximately around 5-10%. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for persons with this background: As ideal for the position you have at least 5 years’ experience within Mechanical Design, preferably from medical devices industry or other regulated industry. You have at least a Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You have a good understanding of product risk management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with SolidWorks or similar 3D-modeling is required. You have a wide experience in different polymer and/or metal materials and the related production methods. It is an advantage if you have knowledge working with flow simulation, corrosion and plumbing. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. As a person you are positive and driven with an action-oriented attitude. Being able to communicate efficiently with different international stakeholders, in a professional, and co-operative manner, is an important asset in order to succeed in the role. R&D Product Development Engineer for Turning Products

Key performance areas As an R&D Product Development Engineer, you develop new products and concepts within the turning area by using our project model. To achieve the best results, you work in close cooperation with our Design, Market, Logistics and Production departments - with the complex challenge of moving from idea to finished product. For successful development within the turning area, you lead development projects and support product maintenance activities for upgrading existing products. Additionally, you obtain internal and external information concerning trends and competitors. Another important part of your job is to participate in the writing of patent documentation to protect new products and concepts. One of the benefits of this position is building and developing a large network, as the work involves many internal and external contacts, both locally and globally. We are looking for someone with a BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant area, and at least five years of experience from metal cutting. Experience from work with cutting technology or project management is advantageous, as are knowledge in NC/CAM-programming. You have good skills in MS Office and well-developed skills in Swedish and English.
