R&D Software Manager EmbeddedWould you like to manage software development as line manager? On behalf of our client, Insert talent is looking for an R&D manager. You are expected to work on-site in Liljeholmen, managing a team of 15 developers and QA engineers. Together with a Product Owner you will be defining scope for releases and prioritizing work for the teams. As a line manager you will be responsible for personal development, salary discussions, work environment, etc. The group is organized in Agile cross functional teams with 5-8 members that are responsible to develop and maintaining software. You will be part of the Embedded Software Management Leadership Team that has teams in both Stockholm and Bangalore, India. You will work tightly with several parts of the organization including different parts within Software but also with Hardware and Product Lifecycle Management. Our clients work includes everything from product concept to finished product - a process that spans over the entire development chain. Your Key Responsibilities Would Include - Being line manager for the group including staff development and salary setting etc. - Responsibility for the whole development chain from requirements analysis, development to quality assurance of team deliveries. - Driving improvements in ways of working. Education & Experience Necessary For Success - Experience from embedded software development and verification (5-10 years). - Solid knowledge and experience from Agile practices. - Experience from product development within telecom and networking. - Proven leadership skills from roles such as Product Owner and Line Manager. - Passion to develop the employees. - As a person positive, flexible and good communication skills. - Proven organizational skills. - Good knowledge in English, written and spoken, Swedish is an advantage.
