Software Build and Configuration ManagerWe are now looking to recruit a Software Build and Configuration Manager for work on a client site in Stockholm. The work will involve working with multiple teams in fields such as Development, QA/Testing and IT operations to define, build and branching strategies. You should at least 7 or 8 years of relevant work experience, a flexible mind-set and good ability to cooperate with others and have the ability to enhance the efficiency of the product release processes throughout the Development and Stabilization phases.You should also be passionate about software quality and be prepared to advocate on behalf of good process and proven practices. Necessary Skills - Analysing, defining, and developing build process improvements using selected tools; - Automating the build process to streamline a multi-platform build process and to reduce build and configuration errors; - Solid technical experience of Fadata applications; - Build/Release/Continuous Integration/Configuration Management Approach. Work Tasks - Clearly documenting the build process and branching strategies; - Ensuring that the build process is scalable and easy to understand; - Working with Development and QA/Testing to ensure Builds are fit for purpose and smoke tested; - Designing and developing new methods for improving the development environment; - Troubleshooting tools and setting up of build servers; - Incorporating test automation (where possible) into build process; - Initial setup and configuration of DEV / CI / ST environments; - Creating and deploying tools that will unite, automate and monitor the build process; - Designing, developing and documenting the deploy processes; - Established technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
