Product Manager Core API
Product Manager Core API Stockholm, Sweden The Spotify product platform team owns the Spotify SDK, enabling ourselves, our business partners, the developer community and all of humanity to build music experiences into devices, apps and web sites. As a product owner for the Spotify Core API team, you'll lead a group of world-class engineers who builds the Spotify Core APIs across our supported platforms. This requires an analytical mind - how can we provide complex functionality for tiny embedded devices with limited memory footprint? How can we improve the API without becoming a blocker for internal feature teams who want to prototype their next big feature? How can we guarantee full test coverage on new toolchains? How can we make sure that the JS and C++ interface counterparts behave alike? You must be located in, or willing to relocate to, Stockholm, Sweden, where we do all platform engineering. Make sure you detail in your application where your core (no pun intended) strengths are when it comes to providing (parts of) a great platform. Have you been providing libraries/SDKs to third parties? Do you have strong opinions on what a great API really _is_? QA Engineer
As a team member in one of our development teams you know that testing is not mainly about finding bugs or reporting pass rates for test cases. Testing is about things like finding and communicating risks, helping your fellow developers find weaknesses and inconsistencies in the way the code works, making sure that what is committed to is delivered and being the users eyes and ears where the magic happens.
