Staff Software Engineer JavaWe are now looking for an experienced Java Developer for our R&D Department to join the Network Management development team. Together with our colleagues around the globe, we build intelligence into Infineraâs fiber optic networks with innovative and smart solutions for network management. We create the software that enables Infineraâs customers to configure, control and monitor complex and increasingly large transmission networks. Advanced features such and new technologies sch as Software Defined Networking, network disaggregation and Network function virtualization pose new challenges and exiting work tasks for us as transport networks evolve. Agile methods play and important role in our daily work and help us develop better solutions while having fun on the way. We value feedback and seek to gather input from both internal stakeholders and our customers. Java 8 is our main development language, but we like to try out new tools and technologies. Today we use technologies such as Gradle, Git, Docker and Docker swarm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Vagrant, Angular, JavaScript, Html5, Bootstrap, RabbitMQ, AspectJ and Spring Boot. ⢠Participate in and take a leading technical role in day to day software development in one of our agile teams. ⢠Take part in the entire development process from exploring requirements all the way to delivery. ⢠Strive to share your knowledge and experience with others. ⢠Design and develop new features. ⢠Improve on existing system and feature set. ⢠Together with your team take overall responsibility for the teamâs deliveries and quality. Education & Experience Necessary for Success: ⢠5 â 10 years of professional experience from software development ⢠Masterâs degree in engineering, computer science or other technical related field. ⢠Good communication skills including English in speech and writing. ⢠You master Java as your coding language and feel comfortable in Linux server environments. ⢠You enjoy attacking complex problems and resolving them in cooperation with your colleagues. ⢠You strive for clean code and value the power of designing for testability. ⢠You want to work in an agile environment. ⢠You find it natural to automate tasks in order to avoid repeated manual work.
