Then read more down below!  ABOUT The Technical Survey Manager maintains daily logistics for the survey operations. Supports the project manager and offshore team in ongoing and upcoming projects. Focuses on the operational parts of the survey. Below are some of your duties in this role: ·      Participate in the planning and logistics for vessels and personnel. ·      Responsible of technical survey standards on MMT vessels. ·      Responsible for documentations and manuals regarding the survey equipment on board. ·      Technical support to vessels during operations, both hardware & software. ·      Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues. ·      Monitor, measure, and report on HSE issues. ·      Assess relevant training needs for personnel individuals within the Operation Department. ·      Follow up on Survey personnel development. ·      Participate in sales meeting as a technichal specialist. ·      If assigned to, take part in specific survey projects and operational tasks. ·      In thisrole you will also be the Manager for ROV Pilots and Senior Surveyors. You will be working at MMTs office in Gothenburg with aprox. 20 days of travelling per year. In this role you will collaborate with a lot of other positions at MMT, such as: ·      Operational Survey Manager, for coordinating the Operation work. ·      Offshore Managers, for execution of projects. ·      Tender Manager, for assisting in tenders. You and your skills: ·       Education - BS in Surveying or an engineering related field. ·      Have at least two years of work experience in a technical position , preferably in marine survey & or from offshore industry. ·      Ability to take initiative and work unsupervised. ·      Must have strong organizational skills, be self-directed with good verbal and written communication skills. ·      Detail oriented, team player, safety conscious, and able to manage multiple work assignments.
