Electromobility The Electromobility organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle, from strategic development to maintaining the products on the market. We drive the transition from conventional powertrains to electromobility and secure a stepwise implementation in different segments/regions. This organization develop and drives the electromobility product portfolio for Trucks & Buses as well creating opportunities for all business areas within Volvo Group. Responsibilities / Main tasks The PE Sweden organization has the full responsibility for Platform Center Heavy Duty Engines, Transmission as well as Application Center Heavy Duty Europe. Included in PE Sweden is also our office in Malmö. The organization takes the product ownership role and optimizes complete powertrain systems through usage of components tailored for each application. PE Sweden is a large organization consisting of roughly 750 passionate employees in Gothenburg and Malmö. As Director for Combustion, you will have the responsibility for: Combustion components and systems over their life cycle The roadmap of the components and system under your responsibility Driving cooperation between Powertrain Engineering sites to secure CAST Simulation capabilities & Operational management of component/system test rigs Develop your organization towards goals set for PE Next Gear You will lead an organization consisting of roughly 90 employees.
